International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is November 17th.
There are 7 locations across Kansas hosting events and THREE of them are being sponsored by Pawnee Mental Health Services. Each event will be held at 10am on Saturday November 17th at our following offices:
* 210 W 21st St in Concordia
* 814 Caroline Ave in Junction City
* 2001 Claflin Rd in Manhattan
A movie will be shown and a discussion with follow. A Survivor Day event has 3 main goals: (1) to EDUCATE, (2) to offer an opportunity for attendees to SHARE, and (3) to help suicide loss survivors meaningfully COMMEMORATE their loved ones and the day—Survivor Day—itself.
