[ARCHIVED] Leadership Changes at UV&S Announced

Underground Vaults

HUTCHINSON, KS ‐ The Board of Directors along with the shareholders of Underground Vaults &

Storage, Inc. (UV&S) announced changes to its leadership team following the 64th annual

meeting of the company.

Longtime President, Lee Spence, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board where he will

continue to provide consulta􀆟on and guidance through his role as a director. At the same 􀆟me,

Jeff Ollenburger was named President of the company. Ollenburger, who previously served as

Sr. Vice President, has led UV&S through a major acquisition and diversifica􀆟on ini􀆟a􀆟ve,

including expansion into Europe, over the past 13 years.

For Spence, being able to con􀆟nue to be an integral part of the company he’s spent 45 years

working at, is important for both him and the con􀆟nuity of leadership. “My en􀆟re professional

career has been at UV&S, and I’ve been blessed to lead this company through many changes,”

said Spence. “Looking back from when we mostly offered secure storage in the salt mine in

Hutchinson, to now, where we provide a wide range of professional services across multiple

countries, it has been an incredible journey. I’m honored to now serve in a different capacity as

a board member and to continue to help guide this great organization.”

Founded in 1959, Underground Vaults & Storage is a full‐service records and information

management and professional services company. UV&S and its multiple divisions provide

records storage, event and festival services, and NAID certified destruction along with data

center hosting and technology support to worldwide clients. UV&S has 13 locations in the

United States, 3 in the United Kingdom and 1 in France. UV&S is perhaps best known for its

flagship salt mine facility in Hutchinson, Kansas where it stores millions of items 650’

underground for some of the largest companies in the world, including the motion picture and

television industry.
