We had some outstanding events over the past week including the annual Regional Leaders Retreat. Hopefully those of you that were able to attend heard something you can take away for your own business and that some of the dialog will lead to great opportunities for our region.
We also celebrated the 2nd annual 15 under 40 class of awesome young professionals and held our annual Women in Business Resolution Rendezvous. The 15 under 40 event is a great chance to recognize those under 40-years-olds that are leading the way in the Manhattan region while Resolution Rendezvous continues to be a popular event for our women chamber members to declare their business resolutions for the year.
I want to thank all our sponsors and those of you that attended these events. Our team works hard to hold relevant, informative, and fun events for our members. We look forward to the signature events like these each year because of our members. I also want to thank our team for their hard work in making these successful.
We now turn our attention to the next big thing…the 2024 Annual Meeting and Celebration. The 99th version of the annual meeting will take place beginning at 5:30 p.m., Feb. 9 at the Manhattan Conference Center.
In addition to the ceremonial passing of the gavel from 2023 Chair Mark Knackendoffel to 2024 Chair Jake Wassenberg, the Chamber will recognize the Lud Fiser Citizen of the Year, the C. Clyde Jones Volunteer of the Year, and the Young Professional of the Year.
This event’s presenting sponsor is Stormont Vail Health. If you would like more information on buying a table or tickets, call Sharla in the office or go here.
The annual meeting is a great opportunity to hear from our leaders on their vision for the organization. It is also a great opportunity to catch up with people you may not have seen for a while. We are going to have similar format to last year with a shortened program and a festive environment after the annual meeting business. It should be a lot of fun.
